Arizona Police Academies

The Arizona Law Enforcement Academy, regional police academies associated with colleges and universities throughout the state, and several large agency academies offer basic training for recruits and in service training for veteran officers. Most Arizona police academies only accept recruits that have already been hired and appointed to the academy by a member law enforcement agency. All Arizona police academies are accredited by the Arizona Peace Officers and Standards Training.
