Alaska Police Academies
The Alaska Public Safety Academy is operated by the Alaska State Troopers. It offers a 15-week course that meets the requirements of the Alaska Police Standards Council. Cadets and recruits live in on-campus housing on the academy grounds. Students receive credit for 12-semester hours from the University of Alaska Southeast upon successful graduation.
