REST IN PEACE-MAY GOD BLESS YOUR FAMILY AND YOUR FELLOW OFFICERS.
Ii wrote a poem to show my thanks-
Today a stranger died for you.
A man/woman dressed in blue
Express their lives by what they do
Whose deeds add up and up so far
That more than what they seem, they are

You braved the cold, the fear and the night
Ran into the danger when others took flight
Gun on your belt, badge on your chest
No other job needs a bullet proof vest
A family of officers; the blue and the brown
Hoping to never hear “officer down”
We prayed it not happen, that you would fall
And then see your name etched into the wall
Traffic, patrol, SWAT and K Nine
The definition of duty so clearly defined
Adrenaline pumping, hair stands on end
Death becomes real; protect and defend
You guarded and served; you honored the shield
Not taking for granted the power you wield
Danger from anywhere; a gun or a knife
Knowing it’s possible you’re giving your life
You answered the call, a robbery botched
And an ambush became your end of watch
A nine one one call, a report of shots fired
A black banded badge must now be retired
Tragedy happened, a bad roll of the dice
The cost of your life being the terrible price
We knew it could happen; even the best fall
When you sped through the night and answered the call
So tragically taken, a father, a mother
A husband, a wife, a sister, a brother
But when at the end your heart slowed to zero
Know we all know that you died a hero
The line stretches for miles to your final rest
Lights flashing in tribute saluting the best
The tears and the anguish that no one can hide
Honoring you as you made your last ride

There is way to many heroes losing there lives to protect us from harm. So next time you see police officer, deputy sheriff , trooper or agent or marshal thank them. Next month will be working on new banner. I will take me six months to make this banner if anyone would like to donate patch or challenge coin to the project there still time: They write me at: David Matthew Duffany 521 S. Park Avenue Apt. # 28 Winter Garden, Florida 34787 or they can e-mail at: chaplaindavidmatthew@gmail.com or call me at: (352) 457-0814 and together we can make a difference in lives of these heroes: It is not how these officers died that made them heroes it is how they lived.
