Things must be getting rough in heaven. God keeps needing more help up there. We are the ones that are weak lord. For drafting our warrior into your army, we ask that you send us 5 more just like him to try and fill the void he left. RIP Sarge.

Utah Denies Police Benefits For Meth Exposure

I am disgusted at how Utah takes care of its public servants. The deaths from past meth lab exposure and continued suffering from on the job exposure continues.

We should Stand Up For All Who Take Care of US in Utah, the State is dishonoring them!

in memory of Trooper Joshua D.Miller,
"I am a Pennsylvania State Trooper, a soldier of the law, to me it is entrusted the honor of the force.
I must serve honestly, faithfully, and if need be, lay down my life as others have done before me, rather than swerve from the path of duty. It is my duty to obey the law and enforce it without any consideration of class, color, creed or condition. It is my duty to be service to anyone who may be in danger or distress, and at all times so conduct myself that the honor of the force be upheld."
    Rest In Peace, Trooper Miller.

I heard about the Caldwell County Deputies. I live two counties over. It makes you think. Its always good to remember that its not just another day at work. I urge each officer on the streets to, please, be careful out there! As a LEO myself, I have to keep myself and my partner in check. When you get relaxed, is when you are going to bed. NOT when you're approaching a vehicle on a traffic stop, or walking up to a house where dispatch advised no weapons involved!!! Thanks to all those who are here as LEO's or LEO's friends and family. My heart goes out to all of the friends and families of fallen officers! Thank you and God bless you all!

Nags Head officer dies in crash on way to report of burglary

    Sgt. Earl Murray

A Nags Head police officer died in a crash this morning in the 3000 block of S. Croatan Highway on his way to a call for a burglary, town officials said. He is the first officer in the town to be killed in the line of duty.

Sgt. Dulan Earl Murray Jr., 48, of Kitty Hawk, was on his way to check out the break-in about 3 a.m. when he lost control of his vehicle, went off the road and hit a utility pole near Nags Head Elementary School, a town news release says.

Murray, who had been with the town since 1997, had more than 26 years of law enforcement experience, the release says.

He leaves behind a wife and two daughters.

In the release, Nags Head Mayor Renee Cahoon calls the loss of Murray “indescribable.”

“Earl Murray was one of the finest, most dedicated officers we’ve ever had,” Cahoon said. “More importantly, though, he was one of the most dedicated family men we’ve ever known.”

The crash is under investigation by the North Carolina Highway Patrol.
