I am 21 speak 3 fluent languages spanish, turkish, english , and learning polish. I am a certified security guard for the state of NY but i am currently located in NJ, and i have gotten this certification during my schooling in upstate NY. I took my 8 hour pre assignment testing during my 3 semesters I have accomplished during my schooling. I have sergeants and detectives willing to write me recomendations.

i really want to become an officer of the law.That or a top notch security officer.coming out of school,is there any way i can get into either one of these professions without having to go to college for a number of years.i mean every body isn't fortunate to have it like that .do any one have any answers.

i just got out the us army infantry after 4 and a half years service and 2 and a half of that was all spent over sea's but i got in some trouble and got out on a genera under honorable conditions, am i still able to join the force or what?!!

VicJames4968 only thing you have to do now is go your closes police department or sheriff department and talk to someone that can sponsor you.

Yes, it is possible to become a police officer at 42 years of age. Keep in mind, though, that some city by-laws have age restrictions for first assignment so ask about this before wasting your time with a particular city. Also, realize that you will have 26 year old snots giving you directions and evaluating your work as they will have had more time on the job and will have started to move up the chain of command. This can be VERY annoying.

I am a police officer in Bulgaria , I have 8 years in Ministry of interior ! I like my job ,but not in my country! Now I am chief unit and I am on holiday in USA,here I want to work but I am not a citizen on US and this is very big problem ! Do know anybody, how to fix this problem?
