Plus I have already started the training for the police academy; which I will hopefully be in by August of this year. Even though I am 20 right now, my birthday is in July. I've been taking all of the practice tests (on paper, in books, and online) from here all the way to wazoo. Just trying to give a little bit of encouragement that's all. Good luck to you!!!

Hey chandlers_daddy, that comment you posted (?)months ago sounds like you are waiting it out. Why go through all of that brainwashing when you could have hopped right to it ( so to speak ). Yes it's a good idea to have some knowlage, but why waist you time in the classroom when you could have the hands-on experience doing a ride-along program with a local police department. That's what i'm doing.

i'd love to protect and serve that is my dream,that's the only job i'm feeling.but,i'm only a us resident not a citizen yet can i apply for the police exam?please let me know!

i have been wanting to become a cop for the last 5-6 years, i can't wait until i can, but first. i need to get in shape XD Someday though, I'll be in that cruiser living the life.

I am prepping mentally and physically. :D I'm so excited!!!!!! This is a dream career. I can't see myself in any other field.
