    You have to have a clean background. No drugs in the last five years. Zero use of cocaine, meth, steroids or other mind altering drugs. If you lie they will find out and you can never apply again. Intense physical and written test, along with psyche evaluation, memorization of numbers up to 8 digits forwards and backwards, face memorization test as well. Get a degree in business management with a minor in criminal justice administration. I

    I want to be a state cop. Always looked up to them, and know some former officers. I think its great and plus you not just limited to only one county or town. Very exciting.
