I was just curious. Im looking into becoming a cop, not sure if I should just start the schooling or talk to a recruiter. But I had a question that maybe someoen could answer. It says no previous drug use. I was never into drugs but tried weed a few times when i was like 18 is that going to come back to bite me? I was never caught or anything, but I dont like lying so do I just come clean when asked? Or should I give up on being a cop now.

I worked undercover with the MD State Police and come from a family where my father was Cheif of Police in the town we lived in. I live in an area that is considering becoming an Incorporated town, I would like to start a police department in the town.

I'm currently 28 I will be 31 when I graduate with my bachelor's. Will my age affect my chances of getting hired on a department? Or would it be more beneficial to start testing for enrty level positions while I'm finishing school? I know having a degree will increase my chances I'm just worried on the age factor. Also I'm in ok shape but I know the physical test is a little hard is there a physical fitness plan that I can find?

I am a 18 year old male. I live in davison, MI. i want to become a cop and one day join the S.W.A.T. I am planning on going to Mott community college to learn about the law enforcement. I truly have no idea how to go about becoming a cop let alone the S.W.A.T.
