My name is Lauren. I would love to meet with the recruiter to talk about my passion for the law. I am very committed and I would appreciate the chance to show you my enthusiasm

normally the cutoff age is about 36 through 39. However I have seen in California people up to age 53 in the academy. They actually made a LA sheriff dept academy video you can watch. I do know that for the state police in Indiana you have to be younger than 40 by the first day of appointment which is after you graduate the rigorous 6 month academy and begin your field training.

i have a question for anyone in the LEO field, are there certain cutoff limits such as age if you want to become an LEO? for example is 42 or 43 considered to be too old to begin in the law enforcement field?
any response would be greatly appreciated and i found the above information very helpful and useful.
