Certain agencies require different college degrees or certifications the best way to know is to call the agency and find out for yourself. Ask them questions trust me they don't mind your calls they enjoy explaining different options to possible recruits. Just pretty much almost every state has a requirement of some sort of Academy so just check into your state policies and the different agency policies. I am in the Academy in Florida and already have an agency wanting me...its not that hard do the research get the job!!! Good luck on your new journey!

FTO's will always tell you "There is no stupid question in Law Enforcement." These people will be your lifeline in the first few weeks. I also recommend talking to the elder officers as much as possible any tips you can get will only be helpful in the long run. If possible talk with your direct chain of command: Sgts, Lts, & Cpts. They've been entry level before too.
