I am shocked to see who is #1, application process is easy to find out just go to the website of the one you sre interested in. Also they usually have a recruit line you can ask questions.

I've heard that Austin PD just recently cancelled an academy just a few weeks into it and sent everyone home...I have no first hand information on this, but a relative in Texas State Govt mentioned it to me last week.
